moving

wee! You know what sucks about moving? Packing, of course. Granted, I have a few weeks yet before this becomes a serious problem, but I figured I might as well get a head start on it.

In other news… I went to play with my kittens today. Out of the entire litter, they are by far the most energetic and troublesome. It amuses me to no end now, but I can only imagine how I’ll feel in a few months after they have torn my stuff to shreds.

I gave notice today on my job. In a month, I will not only have a new job, working for The Lux, but I will also be moving to my new apartment in Napa, CA.

Summer is officially here

But where the hell was spring? This week, we’ve been plunged into rising heat with no rain, the hallmark signs of a northern california summer. But we seem to have missed the spring time, where there is only some rain and no heat. Oh well, at least we had lots of rain this year to compromise.

Shame on me for not working out for a few weeks (ok a month). But yay, back on the elliptical tonight. Let’s see if I can not be a pansy and keep it up.
